PerfectReputations Business Impersonation Checker
Find Details About A Business Website Before Trusting!
Before you trust and send money or personal information to a company you met online, take two minutes to check its website.
Criminals build convincing websites in a single afternoon, often copying the name of a real bank, shipping company, or investment firm. The PerfectReputations Website Check, based on research by the SCARS Institute, looks up what public records reveal: how old the domain is, who registered it, how long the site has existed, whether its email is protected, its canonical identity data, and common signs of impersonation. Each finding comes with a plain explanation. No tool proves a company is honest, but these warning signs help you decide when to stop and verify.

Disclaimer
The PerfectReputations Website Check displays information gathered from public sources at the time of your check. These sources include domain registration databases, the Internet Archive, public security certificate logs, public DNS records, the website’s own home page, and, where enabled, Google Safe Browsing. The tool compares that information against common patterns found on scam and impersonation websites and labels each finding with a plain indicator. Results reflect only what these outside sources reported when the check ran, and they are kept for up to 24 hours, so recent changes may not appear.
This tool does not verify that a company is legitimate, licensed, registered, or honest, and it does not identify the people behind a website. It does not check social media profiles, business registries, reviews, complaints, or court records. A website that shows no warning signs may still be fraudulent, and an honest new or small business may show several warning signs. The indicators are general observations, not findings of fact, and they are not legal, financial, or investment advice. The outside sources sometimes contain errors, delays, or missing information, and PerfectReputations does not control them or guarantee their accuracy or completeness.
You use this tool and its results entirely at your own risk. PerfectReputations provides it as is, without any warranty, and is not responsible for any decision you make, or any loss you suffer, based on its results. Before you send money or personal information to any company, verify it through sources you locate yourself, never through contact details the company provided. If you believe you have encountered a scam, report it to the appropriate authorities.
