Schema.org type — A Schema.org type is a category that says what kind of thing is being described, such as Organization, LocalBusiness, Person, or Article. Choosing the most specific accurate type helps machines understand an entity. Types form a hierarchy, so a Dentist is also a LocalBusiness and an Organization.
