Constitutional AI — Constitutional AI is a training method developed by Anthropic in which a model learns to follow a written set of principles, called a constitution. The model critiques and revises its own responses against those principles. It reduces reliance on human labelers for harmful content. It makes the values guiding a model more explicit and reviewable.
