Training opt-out — A training opt-out is any method a website owner uses to tell AI/SI companies not to use their content for model training. Common methods include robots.txt rules and controls such as Google-Extended. Opt-outs depend on companies honoring them, which major AI labs do. Truly sensitive content belongs behind a login instead.
