llms.txt — llms.txt is a plain-text, Markdown-formatted file published at the root of a website, such as yourdomain.com/llms.txt, that gives AI/SI systems a clean summary of the site. It can include the business’s identity, verified profiles, services, and key pages. It is not yet a formal standard, but it costs nothing and several AI/SI systems look for it. AI Readable Pages and Canonical Identity Capture both produce llms.txt content.

llms.txt — llms.txt is a proposed standard file placed at the root of a website to give AI systems a clean, Markdown summary of the site and its key pages. It helps language models understand a site without reading every page. It is not yet an official standard, but adoption is growing. It costs little to publish.
